OUR FEES/ CHARGES
OUR FEES/ CHARGES
Our initial immigration consultation fee is normally £150 for 45 minutes, in person, over video call, telephone, email.
Fixed fees is an alternative to the standard hourly rate. We offer fixed fees for each stage of the case work to give our clients certainty of the costs and to help them budget accordingly.
We assess each case and, depending on the seniority of the caseworker engaged and the time spent on the case work, we offer fixed fees, instead of hourly fees. The client will be informed of how the fixed fees are calculated.
Our agreed fixed fee to assist with a UK visa and immigration application covers all the work including consultation, paper review, advice, document guidance, preparing an immigration application, submitting the application, liaising with the Home office as needed until a written decision on the application is received. for the stage of the immigration matter for which you have instructed us. Our agreed fixed fee does not cover the third party charges e.g. Home Office UKVI fees, court fees or Barrister’s fees.
We do not charge VAT unless expressly stated.
The fees are payable in instalments, during various stages of the case work. We require 50% of the fees before starting the work and full fees to be paid before submission of the application.
We will explain and agree with you all fees and disbursements upfront, and after the initial consultation, if we are instructed to assist with the immigration matter, the consultation fees will be deducted from the fixed fee to handle the case, if the quoted fee is above £1000.
Once we are instructed, we advise on merits and eligibility and the documents required for the preparation of the application and depending on us receiving all the documents and information needed for the application, we can prepare the application and submit it within 2-4 weeks.
If an application is refused, we advise on the further options available- whether a fresh application, appeal, administrative review or judicial review is required and advice on the merits of the options. We then explain the deadlines, procedure, the estimate time taken for each stage and costs towards our professional assistance and external fees, if applicable. We give a fixed fee for each stage of the matter- for eg an appeal includes initial submission stage, preparing grounds and skeleton argument, prepare responses, prepare witness statements, hearing bundle, instructions to the counsel, find a suitable counsel etc.
Below table gives an estimate of the fixed fee for the different immigration applications. Each case varies and we agree fees for each case prior to incurring.
